Yesterday the 2nd annual Good Riddance Day was held in Times Square, allowing locals and tourists alike to shred and smash away their bad memories. Just like last year, there were some who brought too many burdens to the industrial strength shredder, but everyone still managed to excorsize their demons from 2008. Some popular ones included George Bush and the Detroit Lions; and Jay Ballestero won $250 for the Most Creative entry: saying good riddance to all of the unmatched socks in his drawer.
