Losing Something is a new play by theater and media group 3-Legged Dog (3LD), whose headquarters at 30 West Broadway were destroyed on 9/11. Their new space at 80 Greenwich Street is just three blocks from Ground Zero – a seemingly fitting spot in the shadow of no towers for their new multimedia meditation on loss.

If you're going to do an issue about the 100 People Who Shape Our World, you might as well have a big party, right? Time magazine rolled out the red carpet last night for people on its list, their friends, and the press. Gothamist stopped by the party just ahead of Stephen Colbert. We were not wearing a bear costume, so he wasn't that afraid of us. And perennial favorite, Rachael Ray, showed up all glammy, alternating poses with and without her A.C.H.M. (Arm Candy Husband Meat).

Continuing our Star Wars coverage, Gothamist wanted to know just how powerful are Star Wars’ die-hard fans? Enough to affect the economy. Worker absenteeism for last night and today's showings of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is expected to cost NYC millions and U.S. employers $627-million, according to The Globe and Mail. The beloved Douglas Adams book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, has already been made into a BBC series (now on DVD), and will be made into a film this April. Casting thus far: Martin Freeman (The Office) as Arthur Dent, Mos Def as Ford Prefect, and Zooey Deschanel as Trillian. The role of Zaphod Beeblebrox has not be cast yet. The British directing duo, Hammer & Tongs (aka Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith), directs the screenplay written by the late Adams (Douglas Adams's official site on HHGG).
In other nerd movie news, Film Feed has leaked Star Wars 3 footage (MOV file). Yup, looks like it'll suck. Again. But surprising that Lucasfilm hasn't forced it off yet, which could then be an elaborate red herring hoax by George Lucas. [Via reader John]
Then there's the movies' ultimate nerd of 2003: Toby Radloff, friend of Harvey Pekar (American Splendor). Fametracker has a nice dissection of Judah Friedlander who played Radloff so well in the film, American Splendor.

More about the body part of a famous Hollywood director! Part Three of George Lucas's Neck

The photograph here shows George Lucas' chin-neck. Scroll down about two thirds down.

This is an artfully retouched photo that makes George Lucas look like he has a neck, when in fact, his necky is really pouchy, turkey-like, almost a second huge chin. Photo of George Lucas
