The man found murdered, bound and gagged, in his West 22nd Street apartment was seen walking to the building's elevator with two Latino men on Friday night. The Wall Street Journal reports, "The tenant told police that on a separate occasion he saw the same men waiting in the lobby for [victim John] Laubach and invited them to his apartment, but grew uncomfortable and asked them to leave, the official said. The tenant is helping police compose a sketch of the two men."

Bound and Gagged in Greenpoint
Miss Heather refers to this scenario she snapped a shot of as "mildly disturbing," but the photo of a man bound and gagged in Greenpoint is seriously unsettling. What landed this man in such a precarious situation? Miss H tells us the scene wasn't just a gag or from a movie shoot...but was very real. While details are unfolding, what is known is that the incident took place at a restaurant in the neighborhood, between employees there. UPDATE: Miss Heather has just added on her blog that everyone turned out okay. Guess this is just some people's way of resolving a conflict.
