-Mets 6, Nationals 2: From the Mets' persepctive, the only notable part of this game was Cliff Floyd's return to the lineup. Bothered by a left achilles tendon injury, Floyd hit leadoff to get extra plate appearances. He'll know Monday if he'll play in Game 1 of the playoffs on Wednesday, but the Mets know they'll welcome the Dodgers, the wild card winner. San Diego's win clinched them the NL West; they'll play the Cardinals.

- Sunday evening at McCarren Park is the finals for Brooklyn Kickball. Not only will the winners of Sunday's game get to take home the Chuck D trophy, they will also be able to say they have the best hipster kickball team in all of New York City. The final four are: Tigers, Burninators (the defending champs), John Cougar Mellencamps (they wear cut off jeans), and NYC Fun Club. Semi-final games are at 7 and 8 p.m. with the winner from each playing in the final at 9. Because adults playing kickball in fabulous outfits isn't entertaining enough, music will be provided by the Williamsburg Greenpoint Orchestra.
