Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon are Best Friends For Six Months (BFFSMs), so it's no surprise that they have been showing up on each others shows, having a couple laughs together. After Colbert auctioned off his portrait for Donor's Choose charity for $26,000, he announced that Fallon would be matching that amount with his own donation...without asking Fallon first. So last week, Fallon challenged his audience to donate $26,000, and if they did, Colbert would perform Rebecca Black's ubiquitous "Friday" on his program. Of course, he didn't ask Colbert first either. But last night, Colbert donned his best suit, kicked it in the front seat, kicked it in the back seat, and crooned the song with help from The Roots, Fallon, Taylor Hicks and the Knicks City Dancers. Fun fun fun fun! Check the video out below:

About That Rebecca Black Video
New York City (or a fake backdrop of it) makes a cameo in Rebecca Black's new video, so there you go, we can weigh in on it! First of all, for those of you wondering "Who the fuck is Rebecca Black?" please refer to this NME article titled "Who the fuck is Rebecca Black?" The 13-year-old's video for her song "Friday" recently went viral because it is the worst video ever made, ever. (The Hairpin calls it an "awk-fest.") You can watch the tweenage trainwreck below, and sing-a-long to lyrics like, "Today is Friday, Tomorrow is Saturday, And Sunday comes afterwards."
Saving Money All Year So You Can Blow It On Black Friday
Now that Black Friday is over, let's survey the damage some shoppers did. A 23-year-old student who had been camping outside at the Union Square Best Buy since Tuesday afternoon bought "a Sony laptop for $399, saving $300, and buy a 32-inch Samsung TV and Nintendo Wii, both for just $435, saving more than $300." He told the Post, "When I finally got in, it felt like the gates of heaven opened up. I had to miss a couple of days of school to be here."
All Points West Day One: Radiohead Returns to Liberty State Park
Aside from a passing shower in the afternoon, the weather at Liberty State Park was unseasonably mild and sunny yesterday for day one of the "inaugural" All Points West rock festival. The grassy grounds were populated by misting tents, American Spirit free cigarette lounges, a healthy variety of food vendors, a Sony PlayStation tent, and the whimsical art that's become de rigueur for these sorts of things, with curiosities ranging from Christopher Janney's Sonic Forest to the Solar Pavilion shade sculpture designed with "a zero-waste mandate."
