Philadelphia 4 Islanders 3 (shootout): The Islanders couldn’t hold onto 2-0 and 3-2 leads and fell to the Flyers in a shootout. Wade Dubielewicz had an outstanding game, stopping an amazing 51 shots, but Daniele Briere scored in the third round of the shootout and when Frans Nielsen couldn’t convert the Flyers escaped with two points.
