Souvenirs are usually inanimate doodads, so we must update the story of the man who smuggled a pygmy marmoset from Peru under his hat. The monkey attracted attention not from airport screeners in Lima or in Fort Lauderdale (where Spirit Airlines Flight 180 connected) but from passengers on the flight to Laguardia who noticed the monkey hanging from the man's ponytail. Our favorite part of the story is how other passengers apparently asked the man......

Emergency newswires are reporting that Port Authority cops requested that the Emergency Services Unit hustle over to Laguardia's main terminal this afternoon - and with a cage - because there was a monkey on the loose inside the airport. Proving that people will research anything and everything, the SCOTT Clog Clinic says New York City is the cloggiest city in the country. Um, yay for us or ewwww for us? Now, of course Scott's goal is to talk about their toilet tissue (we're Charmin consumers, for the record), because their tissue is "fast-dissolving," but it seems many clogging problems are due to bad plumbing and "heavy flushing periods." Scott provides tips to a less-clogged......

Hoboken, land of NY-rent-wary hipsters, Yo La Tengo, and Sinatra, will be getting a W Hotel. Actually, it's a W Hotel and Living Room - hotel rooms and 40 luxury condos - that will open in September 2006. Designed by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, the W Hoboekn will have "a bar with amazing views of Manhattan, a destination restaurant, a 5,000 square-foot Bliss Spa and fitness facility plus over 11,000 square feet of meeting space,"......
