Tall Ships Celebrate Hudson's Journey 400 Years Ago

       

Saturday saw one of the many festivities celebrating the 400 year anniversary of Henry Hudson's visit to the area—the launch of River Day, with a flotilla of ships, including a replica of Hudson's ship the Half Moon. Ships left the Statue of Liberty yesterday morning and are heading up the Hudson River, making stops along the way, ending in Albany on Saturday. more ›
