Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has a history of rescuing people who are injured in accidents (oddly enough, then those somehow incidents get reported to the press!). Today, a reader spotted the Commish in lower Manhattan at the scene of a multiple-car pileup:

Police Commissioner Kelly In 3-Car Brooklyn Fender-Bender
Last night around 8 p.m., a vehicle carrying Police Commissioner Ray Kelly was caught in a three-car accident on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn. And snow is involved. According to WCBS 2, "First, a white van was cut off by a red sedan as the lanes merged. The van swerved to avoid hitting the sedan and struck a snow embankment and a road barrier. Commissioner Kelly’s driver put on the brakes, but the SUV slid into the van and was then struck by a Lincoln Towncar."
Children Injured In School Bus Accident On Upper East Side
Earlier this morning, a school bus full of kids was headed to Lincoln Center for a field trip. Unfortunately, there was a detour to the hospital instead for some students, after the bus hit another car on East 63rd Street between First and Second Avenues. According to 1010 WINS, "Officials say 24 students from P.S. 149 and three adults were on the bus. Eleven children have been taken to the hospital."
Fender Bender U-Turns Into Murder
One teenager has been arrested and police are seeking a second suspect in the murder of a 25-year-old man shot to death following a minor traffic accident in the Bronx. Adolfo Gonzalez was shot twice in the chest early Saturday morning, after he got into a fender bender with two other vehicles.
