A woman who was smoking out a Midtown apartment window fell four stories but somehow managed to survive. The Daily News reports that a 34-year-old woman from Delaware (she was visiting her brother) is in stable condition with head trauma. According to the FDNY, the woman "fell into a narrow alleyway between two buildings." A witness said she appeared to look all right, "She was apologizing to the EMTs."
