Every Monday night music nerds come to Pianos for an evening of trivia. Todd Satterfield is the man behind the questions, hosting three rounds that will make you wish you didn't kill so many brain cells at those rock shows. Garner all your knowledge and head over there tonight to get schooled by the authority on all things rock and/or roll.

THEATER: Among the many great things about the Fringe Festival is that it makes theatre available on Mondays, when almost all venues are usually blacked out. 34 different shows are on today, to be exact, including Armageddon Dance Party, David L. Williams' inspired, hilarious take on our precarious times, in which a couple does what comes naturally when they hear the end of times is nigh: invite people over and crank up the music to drown out the horror and sadness welling up from within. Smart writing and great acting got it a gold star in yesterday's reviews and is the sort of Fringe show that should get an extension, but in case it doesn't be sure to go now. - Mallory Jensen

THEATER: The Ontological-Hysteric Theatre itself is a great incubator for avant-garde performance art-type work, so when they have an incubator program themselves, you know what you're seeing there will be fresh and startling. Banana Bag and Bodice was in the program last year with Panel. Animal and is back with The Sewers, a "conjuring act" in which a village called, um, The Sewers, disappears one night in the theatre, leading to a love triangle and loads of dead children. Go with confidence that you will emerge (if you don't disappear too) deliciously baffled. - Mallory Jensen
