The Giants will face significant challenges in 2009, but they certainly have the talent to return to the Super Bowl. The biggest obstacle to that quest will be at wide receiver. Giants Wide Receivers Do Go to Applebee's

Just weeks ago, Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg while at a Manhattan nightclub, but, when he was being treated at a NY hospital, he allegedly claimed his name was "Harris Smith" and said he was shot at an Applebee's. Now, it turns out that Burress's replacement on the field, Domenik Hixon goes to Applebee's. A NJ.com reader posted a photograph of himself with the player and NJ.com's John Shabe writes, "Seems like Hixon was a pretty good sport to mug for a photo with these guys." Hixon will be working off those Applebee's calories when he and the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles in next Sunday's NFC divisional game. more ›

Last Night's Action: Blowout!

  • Giants 44 Seattle 6: New York took control of the game with their opening series and never looked back as they destroyed Seattle on Sunday. Starting with the ball on their own nine, it took only four plays for the Giants to lead 7-0 after Eli Manning connected with Domenik Hixon on a 32-yard strike. The Giants scored on their first six drives of the game, not even punting until about 10 minutes remained in the third quarter. more ›
