The intense rains and flooding that had been plaguing points north and south hit NYC yesterday. Bouts of pouring rain yesterday evening caused a few disturbances (the FDR was partially closed for a spell), but overall, the rain seemed to help cool things down. And at least the commute wasn't flooded the way it was a couple weeks ago.
