Corey Haim's death is currently under investigation following a link authorities found to an "illegal and massive prescription drug ring." The ring allegedly orders the prescription pads using stolen doctor identities and sells them to addicts and dealers. Actor Corey Haim died of pulmonary congestion, according to the LA County Coroner's Office, who also said he had an enlarged heart and his lungs were filled with water. Yesterday his mother Judy talked to Access Hollywood with the report, after she received the call from the coroner explaining what was found during her son's autopsy. Actor Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent overdose, TMZ reports. The LAPD confirms the 38-year-old was found unresponsive in his Oakwood, California apartment, where his mother was also staying—he was pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank. The LAPD believe the death was accidental. Haim battled drug addiction for much of his life, a subject that was touched upon in "The Two Coreys," the A&E reality show he co-starred in with longtime friend Corey Feldman in 2007 and 2008.
