They celebrate the decade on November 16th with an event at Irving Plaza. The concert will include Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, Clem Snide, The Upper Crust and performances from Daily Show correspondents, of course. All proceeds benefit 826NYC. For those of you who like awesome music, for free, we suggest heading over to Sound Fix in Brooklyn. They'll be having some amazing instore shows today. First up at 1pm is Bonnie Prince Billy. Then at 2:30 Marbles and Clem Snide take over. The latter two are playing at the Bowery Ballroom tonight, the show is now sold out so this will be your only chance to catch them in New York this time around. Sound Fix is located at 110 Beford Ave, Williamsburg.

Clem Snide will be playing Bowery Ballroom this coming Saturday March 5th and Gothamist wants to hook you and a friend up with some tickets. Well, the Siren Music Festival is over and we have to go back to actually paying for our live music--most of the time. The next week is filled with great shows, and a handfull of them are either free or require a very small donation. Gotta love NYC in the summer!
