They celebrate the decade on November 16th with an event at Irving Plaza. The concert will include Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, Clem Snide, The Upper Crust and performances from Daily Show correspondents, of course. All proceeds benefit 826NYC. Imagine it: no waiting in line, no pushing your way through crowds to get a good spot, no getting soaked if it starts to rain. That's right, we hear it's a good life back there in the VIP tents. So go and report back to us on how the other half lives.

After getting yourselves a coffee or some brunch this morning, which we currently need...desperately, you may ponder what to do with the rest of your Saturday. Look no further, Gothamist is here to point you in the right direction. If you aren't into anything on this list, the city has more to offer. Really! For those of you who like awesome music, for free, we suggest heading over to Sound Fix in Brooklyn. They'll be having some amazing instore shows today. First up at 1pm is Bonnie Prince Billy. Then at 2:30 Marbles and Clem Snide take over. The latter two are playing at the Bowery Ballroom tonight, the show is now sold out so this will be your only chance to catch them in New York this time around. Sound Fix is located at 110 Beford Ave, Williamsburg.

Clem Snide will be playing Bowery Ballroom this coming Saturday March 5th and Gothamist wants to hook you and a friend up with some tickets. We find it somehow comforting that we're already buying tickets for shows in the springtime ... we're ready to thaw! Moving on, so as not to repeat ourselves here is last month's sell outs list which has tickets that are still on sale for upcoming shows. And as for the below list we have starred the shows that have a high risk factor of Hilary Duff being in attendance, consider this a public service.

Well, the Siren Music Festival is over and we have to go back to actually paying for our live music--most of the time. The next week is filled with great shows, and a handfull of them are either free or require a very small donation. Gotta love NYC in the summer!
