Former Cardinal Hayes High School principal Christopher Keogan, who resigned in 2008 after porn was found on his office computer, has been indicted by a Bronx jury for allegedly stealing $50,000 from his former school. He was charged with grand larceny and multiple forgery, and faces up to seven years in prison. Keogan allegedly falsely endorsed four money orders that the school received in summer school tuition in 2007, and was also charged with using a credit card issued to a nonprofit to buy over $3,000 in personal goods while he was principal. Cardinal Hayes High School, says the allegations are “absolutely, positively 100% false." Officials have confirmed that Keogan’s hard drive was storing pictures of nude men and that since there were no minors depicted, Keogan does not face any criminal charges, though of course his career is destroyed. more ›
