Who knew that the Knicks, battered and with an interim coach, could put on a thrilling Easter show against the dominating Chicago Bulls? Although New York was leading for the first half, Chicago regained its footing in the second. Still, the Knicks pushed Derrick Rose and the rest of the Bulls to overtime, thanks to Carmelo Anthony's efforts. And then Anthony had a three-pointer in final seconds of OT—finishing the game with 43 points—to seal the 100-99 victory.

Video: Chicago Bulls' Joakim Noah Hurls Gay Slur At Fan
During a televised sporting event that was watched by literally millions of people last night, Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah was caught on one of the dozens of cameras which are constantly trained on him calling a fan a "f**king faggot." Clearly upset over being called for his second foul in the first quarter of the game, you can hear Joakim shout the slur around 0:19:
Knicks' Thanksgiving Leftovers
A day after the NY Post served up a Thanksgiving day front page cover of Knicks president and coach Isiah Thomas as a turkey, the embattled Thomas proclaimed he would stay in his job, saying, "I don't foresee there being any changes this year." Which the Post calls "LOAD OF BULL?" But really, if there's one thing that the Post and Daily News must have been thankful for, it's having such a spectacularly poorly managed...
Let's Get Him!
Knicks’ fans, are you still basking in the afterglow of the worst season in franchise history? Are you looking forward to watching the Chicago Bulls use the #2 overall pick in the upcoming draft? Well, it’s time to stop blaming Isiah and Larry and focus on the big fish at MSG, Jim Dolan. Knicks Almost Win the Draft Lottery
Name the two best players eligible for the upcoming NBA Draft. Maybe you like Tyrus Thomas or Adam Morrison? Well, the Knicks would have been in position to pick one of them after Tuesday’s draft lottery, but they traded that pick away last year to get Eddy Curry. The Chicago Bulls now get the chance to use the #2 overall pick on the player they want and also will have the option of swapping first round picks with the Knicks in 2007. Nice work, Isiah!
Where Did That Come From?
Sometimes the Knicks and the NBA makes Gothamist scratch its head. That's what happened during the Knicks' 105-103 victory Detroit at the Garden Friday. A team that could be bound for its third straight NBA Finals lost to a team that would be bound for the lottery had it not traded its pick away unprotected to the Chicago Bulls. With a loss to the lowly Bobcats in the rear-view mirror, the Knicks knocked off the league's best team.
Last Second Loss Redux; Lenny May Lose Next
These losses (especially the one to the Hornets last week) have put Lenny Wilkens' job in serious jeopardy. Isiah Thomas has sworn that he would never install himself in the coaching role, but the New York media have never really put much stock in that. Given Thomas' proclivity for trades, expect some shifts in both players and coaching before next month's trade deadline.
Gothamist 2004 NBA Mock Draft, Version 2
The offseason in the NBA has just begun and weve already seen the most dominant player in the league and the reigning scoring champion both involved in trade talks. This should set the stage very nicely for tonights draft.
Gothamist 2004 NBA Mock Draft, Version 1
With the Pistons Championship firmly in the books, the offseason is now underway. The other 28 teams that stopped playing a long time ago have been feverishly preparing for next weeks draft for some time now.
