Tankleff Won't Face Another Trial
After serving 17 years in prison for his parents' 1988 murders until charges were dropped in January, Martin Tankleff learned today that he won't be retried for their murders. Today, Attorney General Cuomo's office said, "The issue in this case is not whether there is evidence ...but whether there is sufficient evidence," and doesn't think there's enough evidence to prosecute anyone else.
