Chaos reigned this afternoon when hackers took over the Huffington Post's Twitter feed, sending out a series of racist, homophobic, and anti-English tweets to their 1.5 million followers. And they seem to be fans of the New York Post, writing, "Sup bitches? Hacked by: New York Post" and "New York Post rules!!!" Huff Post were able to quickly take their account back and delete all the offensive tweets, but you can see them all lovingly preserved below. Mayor Bloomberg and Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott warned today that the city is facing “strong possibility” of a school bus strike next week, one which Bloomberg says would result in "chaos." Local 1181 of the Amalgamated Transit Union is threatening to strike over the city's plan to ask for bids for service to transport special education pre-kindergarten children for next school year. “So the union is threatening an illegal strike that would harm the education of more than 152,000 students if it doesn’t get its way. And that’s just outrageous,” Bloomberg said at City Hall earlier. more ›

According to MyFoxNY, the "evening ended with chairs being thrown into the crowd, mace being sprayed, and reports of table being tossed from a second floor balcony." Record executive James Roppo was charged with "endangering the welfare of a child, obstruction of governmental administration, reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance"—Newsday reports, "Nassau police said James A. Conceived by artist Duke Riley, we noted yesterday that the event was a Roman-themed naval battle that also involved tomato throwing, baguette battles, watermelon cannon balls, warriors in togas and other museums—the Brooklyn Museum, El Museo del Barrio and the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
