You know the party's over when you get called out for abusing your celebrity ice cream freebie card. Earlier today, we all had a good chuckle over a recent incident at a Carvel in East Meadow, Long Island, where Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina had her Carvel "Black Card" confiscated by an employee. The cards entitle holders to free ice cream for 75 years or until the recipient overdoses on crack/drowns in a hot tub/burns up in a fiery DWI crash on the 405—whichever comes first. Now Carvel has fired back at the Lohan family, and it's awesome:

Where to begin! First off: Carvel gives VIP ice cream lovers special Black Cards. That is pretty amazing in and of itself, but this story is about Black Card holder Dina Lohan, mother of Lindsay.
While shopping for an ice cream cake for her son Cody's birthday in East Meadow, NY yesterday, mama Lohan handed over her Black Card, only to have it confiscated by an employee. She explained the embarrassing incident to RadarOnline:

First the financial crisis, now this. Nostalgic sweet tooths are now screaming vainly for ice cream in Hartsdale, New York, where the first Carvel on earth closed yesterday after more than seven decades in business. Legend has it that company founder (and beloved commercial spokesman) Tom Carvel opened the depression-era soft serve icon at the location because that's where his self-made frozen custard trailer broke down with a flat tire on Memorial Day 1934—business was so good at the spot he stayed put, built the store, and even lived out back with his wife for a while.
