The boyfriend of a woman whose one-year-old was found dead this week has been arrested and charged with his murder. A 6-month-old boy was found dead in his crib by his mother early this morning, and police have yet to determine a cause of death. An EMS worker alerted police that baby Stephon Jenkins had bruises and scratches on his body. Mother Tina Brice, 20, says she went to check on him around 5:40 p.m. inside their first-floor Fulton St. apartment in Brownsville: “I put him to sleep, I checked on him two to three times,” the single mom told the Daily News. “When I checked again there was white and brown stuff in his mouth.” more ›
