Cyclones 7, Lake Monsters 6: The game remained scoreless until Brooklyn finally scored a run in the sixtth. The two teams then exploded for 12 runs in the next two innings and Brooklyn held off an eighth-inning rally by Vermont for the win.
Brooklyn 5, Oneonta 2: The first four Cyclones reached base and scored, and the game was effectively over. The two teams still played the full nine innings though.
Lowell 2, Brooklyn 0: These teams played like they had dinner reservations. The Spinners enjoyed them more thanks to their stronger effort in the pitchers' duel. Brooklyn only got four hits.

Monday's game featured a virtual explosion in offense from the Mets, as they scored 4 runs, but still went on to lose 9-4. Tuesday, they were stymied by the pitching of David Wells, scratching out one run in the 9th inning of a 3-1 loss. Last night, they were shut out 4-0 (box score) by Brian Lawrence, who had a complete game. Newsday reports that the Mets only had one runner in scoring position after the 3rd inning. Now that's anemic.
