One of Gothamist’s favorite summer food activities is picking blueberries--if we’re out of the city, that is. If we’re in town, we buy them fresh in the greenmarket. We like them in pies and tarts, with whipped cream or yogurt, or just plain--we’re easy that way. We love the combination of sweet and tart found in the berry.
