That Foxy Brown. We thought that her guilty plea and acceptance of three years on probation plus anger management was the end of her smackdown with the staff at Bloomie Nails in Chelsea ages ago. But, no, Foxy, nee Inga Marchand, had an incident with the anger management clinic staff at the Shore Parkway facility in Bensonhurst. Naturally, this wound up in court again.

Foxy Brown was sentenced to three years probation for attacking employees of Bloomie Nails back in 2005. You may recall that in August Brown pleaded guilty to the assault, but then tried to take it back. Brown continued to plead her innocence, claiming her original lawyer had "rushed" and "coerced" her. The NY Times had a funny exchange between Brown (real name: Inga Marchand) and the judge:

Ms. Marchand, 27, said she pleaded guilty only because her lawyer at the time, Robert Kalina, told her that if she did not, she might have to spend a night in jail. (In the small-world category, Mr. Kalina was Mr. Smith’s [Busta Rhymes's] lawyer yesterday.)

Rapper Foxy Brown had her day in court yesterday over the alleged incident where she assaulted workers at Bloomie Nails nail salon after they charged her for both a manicure and pedicure. She admitted she was guilty to the assault charges...then changed her mind. The Post details the "spectacle":

Then, moments before she submitted to getting her cheek swabbed by court officers - so that her genetic profile could be added to the state DNA database, as required for violent misdemeanors - her feet went cold in her brown, snakeskin Christian Louboutin stilettos.

The seasons may change, but we seem to be assured of stories where rapper Foxy Brown goes totally crazy and does something that requires the police or the phrase "pressing charges." This time, Brown (born Inga Marchand) is accused of stealing $800 worth of belts - just two belts! Tony Khayat, owner of L'Impasse on West 8th Street, told the NY Post that he gave free clothes to Brown earlier this week, but she stormed into his store after hours, wearing paper pedicure slippers, demanding the clothes she had brought in for tailoring. Then she tried to bargain for a gold watch, and when she didn't get the price she liked, she took the two expensive belts. Khayat, who showed the Post the surveillance footage of Brown acting up, said, "I was going to just call her and tell her to get those f-ing belts back - but I guess I'm pressing charges." We guess he just doesn't want to be friends anymore!

There was that Seinfeld episode, The Understudy, where Elaine tries to understand what the Korean manicurists are saying about her.
