Ron Paul And Barney Frank Tag Team For Marijuana Reform

In one of the stranger political teamups since the uneasy Bloomberg-Gingrich-Sharpton triumvirate of 2009, liberal Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank and libertarian Texas Rep. Obama Signs Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal Into Law

This morning, President Obama signed into law the repeal of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, which restricted openly gay men and women from serving in the military. It was a particularly happy day for the President, who had made repealing the 17-year-old DADT policy one of his issues during his presidential campaign. "No longer will tens of thousands of Americans in uniform be asked to live a lie, or look over their shoulder in order to serve the country that they love," Obama said during a press conference after the historic signing. more ›

And this time it's not even the Post breathing down Rangel's neck as usual, but an investigative cover story in today's New York Times. more ›

It's been a long time since one cast member on Saturday Night Live has grabbed almost all the attention focused on the show and Tina Fey technically isn't even a cast member right now. But for the third time in four weeks since the show returned, Fey was front and center in the opening sketch as the doppelganger she seems to refine and heighten a little every week, Sarah Palin. more ›
