As you may know, Apes & Androids were our favorite band in the entire universe. Even though they've disbanded, it's exciting that many of them continue to make music, and this weekend Morgan Z (the band's former keyboardist) will debut his new project: Chrome Canyon (listen here). He has already released an EP, entitled Body Music, with French label On The Fruit Records, and later this year he'll be releasing a full length, called Elemental Themes.

NYC Bands We Miss, Part I: Apes & Androids
As an adult, we have the right to complain about how no one is making any good music anymore. Of course, plenty of people are, but nothing beats the bands that you pine nostalgically for because they don't exist anymore. So excuse us while we revisit a better era of live music in NYC. The #1 band we miss is Apes & Androids, so we're starting there, and will continue this series each week until we run out of bands we miss.
