Never has a feathered boa'd media cocktail party hostess looked so good. Mediabistro.com, the media and creative job listing website, was sold to Jupitermedia for $23 million, according to the NY Times. Jupitermedia will be paying $20 million in cash, then $3 million over two years, and Mediabistro.com founder Laurel Touby will be staying on a senior vice president. Jupitermedia also has job listings sites, in addition to their information and content offerings.

It's unclear whether or not a woman is still under a northbound F train at East Broadway and Canal Street (it happened around 9AM), but F train service has been rerouted to the A as we await reports on her condition. Authorities still don't know if she jumped, fell, or was pushed. As it happens, earlier this week, the Post reported that a drunk man fell into the Chambers Street southbound A tracks and escaped relatively unhurt when you think about a subway car running over you. The man managed to fall into the well between the tracks, and the Post added this graphic to explain how this would be possible. Here's hoping the woman is all right.

, which recently lost its editor, Jeff Koyen, after a cover story entitled "The 52 Funniest Things About the Upcoming Death of the Pope" unsurprisingly pissed a lot of people off, has come out with its annual hatefest issue: The 50 Most Loathsome New Yorkers. Making the list this year were the usual targets (politicians, editors, celebrities, etc..), with Mayor Mike taking top honors as most loathsome for "bringing the Republican National Convention to town and the mini-police state inspired by it" (among other offenses). Mayoral hopefuls Gifford Miller and Anthony Weiner also made the cut.
