A state disciplinary board fined Dr. Mark Nesselson $10,000 and ruled that the pediatrician could only work under supervision from now on. Nesselson filled out fake paperwork for parents who did not want their children to receive required immunizations before attending school, which is required by law. The doctor was caught when he moved to Hawaii and handed off patient records indicating that he had never actually immunized some children to another doctor, who reported him to state authorities.

It sounds like a Project Runway challenge: create a look Princess Grace would have worn. However, the six gowns that are currently being displayed in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue were created by some of the top designers -- each being paired with a specific look to be reinterpreted in a modern way.

It shouldn't be a shock to anyone to hear that an executive at Starbucks has a better work environment than a lowly barista. There’s a lot that looks really interesting, but so you don’t have to slog through all those listings we’ve got a few recommendations – and so this doesn’t turn into a massive post, we’ll have a few more later this week.

Spring showers bring May flowers and allergies. Now that April is almost finished, we are gearing up for allergy season. Even in the cement garden, there's enough pollen floating around to make your eyes look stoned and your nose drip. April brings mostly tree pollen to the area through mid-May followed by grasses until mid-July and then weed pollen is more prevalent later in the season, August through October.
