Amanda Bynes recently quit acting and took to Twittering full time. She has since unretired, but the good news is she can juggle both creative outlets. With lexical gems like: "Let's all just mutually agree that Felicity was the best show ever," let's all just mutually agree that this is a good thing. Someone recently went around the streets of New York City to have locals read her Tweets aloud... enjoy!:

The Cinecultist's Weekly Movie Picks: Vigilante Edition

The TRL Awards
You know those screaming kids who stand outside of 1515 Broadway in Times Square when they should really be in school? They have signs declaring their love for someone we've never heard of and their high pitched shrills are often heard below 14th. They are there because of MTV's TRL (Total Request Live), today's version of what we used to call the Top 5 at 5 (when we actually had to call in to place our vote, because there was no texting or online voting yet).
Live From NY, It's Colin Firth
Read Pride and Prejudice online. And Bridget Jones sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, will be released this fall.
What I Don't Want
Gothamist has been looking for a way to talk about What a Girl Wants, the new Princess Diaries-ish movie starring Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes, if only to talk about Colin Firth, making the transition to playing fathers of teenage girls. Warner Bros. is backtracking and trying to eliminate the peace sign from WAGW posters according to the Hollywood Reporter. No matter that there are tons of posters that have been up for weeks.
