Alien Loves Predator by Bernie Hou is a weekly full-page webcomic starring Abe (the Alien) and Preston (the Predator) sharing an apartment in the city, braving NYC Transit and just trying to get the rent paid. If, from the title, you're expecting to see the next , you'll be disappointed; these 2 guys are as hetero as extra-terrestrial monsters get. This week Abe tries his hand (again) at Speed Dating.

Alien Loves Predator, but Hates Landlord

Stop whatever you are doing and spend the next two hours reading through the 120+ installments of the Alien Loves Predator comic. It's an "Odd-Couple" type comedy, subtitled "in New York, no one can hear you scream." The slimey extraterrestials ride the subway, try to find a roommate, eat Chinese food, and bicker about Seinfeld-esque juvenalia. Extreme NYC Advertising

Forget wild postings and other guerilla marketing tactics: The next barrier to break in NYC outdoor advertising will be conquering famous pieces of the NYC skyline. And in a post-H&M-ad-on-the-Flatiron world, Alien Loves Predator looks at some other possibilities for advertising on beloved New York City landmarks. Of course, Gothamist has been wondering if Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson will try to get some sort of advertising on the Empire State Building for his remake of King Kong.
