This week, Jay-Z adjusted ties with Warren Buffet at the grand reopening of his oft-troubled 40/40 Club on West 25th Street. And less than a day later, the club was closed once again, when an inspector found a slew of health code violations. And although the club corrected many of those mistakes in order to re-reopen on Friday, Jay-Z is now facing a problem even more odious than one of Blue Ivy's soiled solid gold diapers: a potential "C" health grade.

Check Out Jay-Z Adjusting Warren Buffett's Tie
Guess it's time to just admit that it's Jay-Z's world now, and we just live in it. Everything he does is a headline these days. But really, unless you're billionaire investor Warren Buffet, you aren't gaining access to that world. What? That's right, the legendary investing tycoon was throwing up Roc hand-signs at the rapper's 40/40 Club party last night. Really!
Jay-Z's 40/40 Club Gets The Union Rat Treatment
Fresh off last weekend's confirmation that there will be a mini-Z roaming the hallways of Roc-A-Fella records in the near future, Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in the Flatiron district has come under scrutiny this week for sketchy labor practices, prompting some inflatable union rats to appear. Jay-Z's got 99 problems, and a labor dispute is one.
40/40 Club Fires Bouncers After Beatdown
Following videotape that was released of a bouncer beatdown outside of Jay-Z's 40/40 club in Atlantic City recently, several bouncers that were involved have been fired. Couri Glen, the former supervisor of security at the club, told TMZ: "We were initially all suspended and then fired for misconduct." He and his team feel they were wrongly terminated, saying they were just doing their jobs by escorting the men out of the club. Even if they men did take a swing at some of the security team, however, it still looks like the team went a little too far retaliating.
Bouncer Beatdown at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club
Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in Manhattan has seen some trouble in the past, but nothing compared to what his Atlantic City branch is about to see. His club's security beat down two patrons over the weekend, and of course it was caught on tape (by DJ Zeke who performed at the club that night):
When You Share a Divorce Lawyer...
Alex Rodriguez was spotted at the 40/40 Club not with a purported gal pal but Shaquille O'Neal! Rodriguez and O'Neal are both superstar athletes who are used to the glare of the spotlight--and they happen to share the same divorce lawyer, Ira Elegant (though it's unclear how Shaq's divorce is progressing, since he was seen with his estranged wife recently). A-Rod was hosting a party at the club, and TMZ says the DJ played Madonna and that security "swept the crapper of people, even pulling one guy from a stall" before A-Rod used the bathroom.
