Life Not All Rainbows for Chauffer Who Crossed Young Cipriani

Restaurateurs the Cipriani family are no strangers to running on the wrong side of the law and now it appears that their next generation is ready to step in and carry on their troublesome traditions. 20-year-old Ignazio Cipriani and a friend were arrested for third-degree assault after sucker-punching a limo driver outside of Chelsea nightclub 1Oak. The young Cipriani had been drunkenly raising a ruckus when he was denied admission and soon decided to target the driver. After hitting the ground once he got clocked, the chauffer tells the Post, "My head was part way under a car, and I opened one eye and saw two guys kicking me." A lawyer for Cipriani told the press, "This is nothing more than a group of young people pushing and shoving in front of a nightclub. We don't see a crime here at all." The 10ak was last in the news over the summer for tossing unwanteds from the club—specifically employees who claimed they were fired because the owner "only wanted white girls working there."

Four former employees of pretentious Chelsea nightclub 1OAK (the name stands for 'one of a kind') filed a lawsuit against club owners Thursday in Manhattan Federal court, the Daily News reports. Lawyers say the four minority workers – three female waitresses and one male bartender – were terminated because club owner Scott Sartiano only wanted "white girls he could f---" serving drinks, or so they were told by a manager, who allegedly elaborated, "Scott has a thing about Asians, he wants all white girls." In June, 1OAK owners denied trying to hush up a gay-bashing incident that allegedly transpired in the club bathroom, and it's also where Lindsay Lohan goes to steal clothes. In this latest bit of bad press, the club's lawyer explains that "these disgruntled employees were fired for their poor work performance in addition to four other Caucasian employees that were fired that same week." (For not putting out.)

Clearly not satisfied with just $10,000 for the unwitting "borrowing" of her fur coat, a Columbia student has sued starlet Lindsay Lohan for "unspecified damages," citing Lohan's "intentional, oppressive and malicious" actions.

After a Columbia student informed the Post that troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan borrowed--without permission--an $11,000 mink, the Post put the story on its cover yesterday, exposing the ugly truth of the fabulous: You may be going to a private party at an exclusive lounge, but you're still putting your coat into a communal coat bin.

Temper your envy of the fabulous going to private parties at exclusive clubs, because this tale of a coat gone missing, seemingly by the hands of a certain Hollywood starlet, boils down to one fact: Meatpacking District lounge 1 Oak has a "common bin" for jackets.
