PARTY: Performance artist Penny Arcade is redefining the book party tonight in celebration of her first publication Bad Reputation. Expect erotic dancers, music, performances, lots of booze, and... Blondie! That's right, the one and only Debbie Harry (pictured) is scheduled to appear. Pay 30 bucks and get a book with your admission.

BIKE LANE WARS: The Great Williamsburg Bike Lane Wars are getting some attention at the Open City Dialogue (OCD) series tonight. "In December rogue bikers Quinn Hechtropf and Catherine Piccochi were nabbed by South Williamsburg's Satmar Hassidic community's Shromrin Patrol for illegally re-painting a bike-lane that had the week before been controversially removed from Bedford Avenue by the city... thus began the great Willliamsburg Bike Wars, a Hipsters vs. Hassidim saga whose players include a who's who of Bikesters, Hassidic High-rollers, and even Mayor Bloomberg himself." Hear from both sides tonight.

POLENTA PARTY: Emporio, a casually elegant Nolita trattoria from the team behind Aurora, is going polenta crazy tonight. Thirty dollars gets you as much slow-cooked polenta as you can consume, plus unlimited red wine. A selection of three hearty toppings will be available to mix with the polenta: Wild mushroom ragu, Spuntaturre (baby back ribs and sausage in tomato sauce), and Polpette di pecorino (pecorino cheese sauce). The polenta and toppings will be served family-style on wooden slabs at the communal tables in the skylight dining room "promptly" at 8:15 p.m.
