Gigantic Turnout: Giants Fans At The Super Bowl XLVI Ticker Tape Parade

Take a look at some photographs of Giants fans celebrating the franchise's fourth Super Bowl Championship at this morning's ticker tape parade. See people standing on top of some poor driver's van. Observe the police take down a guy who tried to cross a barrier (we hear he was drunk and possibly took a swing at a cop). Live vicariously through these videos below:

There's only one thing less appealing to me than being downtown during the Giants parade, and that's Treblinka.

I'd like to take a bat and break the legs of all those people standing on that van.  Fuckin' animals.  How do you lose your mind just because of a parade.

    SLACKERS OCCUPY CANYON OF HEROES

So it's okay to disrupt the entire downtown businesses and community because a home team who a big game, but it's not okay for peaceful protesters to occupy a 33,000 square foot publicly accessible park to raise awareness on the curruption of corprations and the staggering inequality (1% vs 99%) of our citizens?
