Last Night's Action: Rebounding

2008_12_rangerslogo.jpg The Rangers returned to their winning ways after a loss to Ottawa the other night. New York dominated Toronto, out-shooting them 30-20 as they cruised to a 3-0 victory. Marty Biron pitched the shutout while Mike Rupp, Brian Boyle and Derek Stepan had the Rangers' goals.

Michael Grabner scored twice in the third period to lead the Islanders to a 4-2 victory over Buffalo. Thanks to the MSG-TWC dispute, none of their fans got to see the game.

The Devils overcame a 1-0 deficit with goals from Foster and Elias to beat Winnipeg 2-1.

The Knicks went to Oklahoma City without Carmelo Anthony in the lineup and it cost them. They shot only 41% from the field and the Thunder cruised to an 104-92 win.

Deron Williams was awful in his return to Utah and the Jazz earned an easy win.
