Turns Out Jay-Z Made A Sizable Donation To Lenox Hill Hospital

This is hardly surprising, because while Lenox Hill Hospital denies they received money from Beyoncé and Jay-Z to create a personalized VIP section for the birth of their daughter, Blue Ivy... those suites certainly weren't built on love alone. The famous couple were the first to utilize the $800/night private suits (what coincidental timing!), and now Radar reports that they made a six figure donation to the hospital prior to the birth.

A source told the site, “Jay Z and Beyoncé made a very large donation to Lenox Hill Hospital several months ago—the donation was at least $100K." That's 1/6th of the amount of money he allegedly spent on a rocking horse for his daughter. But how much do you think they paid to have this previously unnamed species of horse fly named Beyoncé?

I still feel like I'm missing something - why is this such an issue? Is it bad that they payed a lot of money so they got a nice room? It's a business in a hospital, no? And the donations would make a better hospital.

There are reports of dad's not being able to visit with their newborns. Seems that the body guards would not let them through. One dad was trying to see his premature twins and they would not let him through on two occasions. All the people who entered the hospital had to give up there cell phone and camera devices. All so, these two could see the rights to their kids photos. Now do you see the big issue?

Those two deserve each other with their matching self-absorption and materialism. The funny thing is that it's not likely to last, either. No two people with such massively inflated egos can remain married for very long. I give them fewer than ten years before they have to divorce, almost certainly acrimoniously.
