"Hangover Cure," Not Angel Dust, Turned Pro Skater Into Naked "Hulk"
Jereme Rogers' character in Tony Hawk's Proving Ground video game.
Rogers yesterday was released from jail after promising to pay back nearly $3,000 to the hotel for the damage he caused during his naked run. As long as he pays up at least half of what he owes before his next court date (January 31) he won't have to do any more jail time.
So what exactly caused his January 5 meltdown? Not angel dust. "I had a few drinks with this girl. She gave me a couple of pills. She said they were hangover pills. But they weren't. I don't know what they were, actually." Still, they made him go cah-razy! "I became something I wasn't—something like 'The Hulk,'" the smiling skater explained.
Rogers only realized just how much of a mess he was when he was on his way to Bellevue. He says tied to the gurney he thought, "Alright, I didn't save the world...And that now I have to do this [court]. Crap." Then, before he left the reporters outside the courts he told them, "God bless you, God bless you all."
Anyway, as for hangover cures...we could have told him they don't really work.
