While you're just thinking about where to get Chinese food for the Lunar New Year (Chinatown? Flushing? Sunset Park?), in China, they are taking the upcoming Year of the Dragon very seriously. So seriously that Chinese big spenders have bought all the special edition "Dragon" Rolls-Royce Phantoms which sell for $1.2 million each.

A regular Phantom is about $800,000 less, but this special version is chock full of dragons. As Motor Authority explained last year, "For the exterior, there is a twin coachline with a dragon, in gold color, hand-painted to the side of each car. The design of the dragon was inspired by the Forbidden City in Beijing and always faces forward to ensure the symmetry of both sides. Moving inside, more dragons are found on the headrests, all hand-embroidered using a combination of four thread colors. Additionally, a dragon inlay is featured on the passenger panel of every car in this unique collection." (Is "adding dragons" the missing phase 2 to the gnomes' underpants business model?!?)

According to Rolls-Royce, Chinese customers are interested in "highly bespoke cars with features such as drink cabinets and embroidery." In other news, Foxconn settled with factory workers who threatened suicide.
