All-You-Can-Eat Chilifest Bringing The Heat To Chelsea Market

Now that winter is officially upon us, it's time to fatten up—forget whatever New Year's resolution you made, because Chilifest is coming! Yes, that's right, the annual celebration of all that is beefy and beany (or not, if you're from Texas) is taking place at Chelsea Market on Sunday, January 29, and the chef lineup at this one looks to be a doozy.

Teams from Back Forty, Bark Hot Dogs, Beer Table, Co., Fatty 'Cue, Friedman's Lunch, Gramercy Tavern, Jimmy's No. 43, Northern Spy Food Co., Porchetta/Porsena, Roberta's and Vinegar Hill House will use dry-aged, New York-raised beef from Chelsea Market's butcher shop, Dickson's Farmstand Meats to compete for the title of Chili Champ of NYC and take home a full set of fancy kitchen gear and the illustrious Golden Chili Mug. Chilis will be paired with—what else?—beer from Samuel Adams, plus live music from Brooklyn band The Dixons.

Tickets are $45 for all-you-can-eat chili, $55 for chili and beer, with proceeds going toward Food Systems NYC. There will be no tickets at the door, so start loading up now!
