Video: Chris Christie Heckled By Occupy Protesters, Yells Sleazy Retort

New Jersey governor Chris Christie is above partisan squabbling and name-calling. As he was trying to explain this to a group of Mitt Romney supporters at a campaign stop in Exeter, New Hampshire, he was rudely interrupted by a group of Occupy protesters who shouted "Christie kills jobs!" But thanks to his years on the stand-up circuit, Christie handled the hecklers like a pro. "You know, something may go down tonight but it ain't gonna be jobs, sweetheart!" We're guessing New Jersey's chief executive then ordered the group a round of strawberry daiquiris and told the bartender to "keep playing Buffett until I can get these ladies home."

According to ABC, Christie continued to admonish the protesters, some of whom sound like women. "If she was in New Jersey like these Jersey girls out there she would know that we’ve created 60,000 new private sector jobs after Jon Corzine killed 120,000.” 60,000 private sector jobs, 22,000 net jobs, same thing.

And if she wasn’t so blinded by her Barack Obama-induced anger, she’d know that American jobs are coming back when Mitt Romney is the next president of the United States, and if she wasn’t so disorientated by the loss of hope and change she’d understand that Mitt Romney is the hope for America’s future.

Of course! That's what he meant by "something may go down tonight." And as always, the media did their due diligence and asked the governor exactly what was intended by the phrase, so we can all move on.

  • Christie was telling the woman that she was "going
down"--evidently on him. Since the woman wouldn't willing go down on that
300 lb slob, he was evidently implying that he would force her to give
him head. He was saying, stop interrupting me, or I'll force you to
fellate me head later tonight. So he was threatening to rape her. Very
appropriate for a sitting governor. The "sweetheart" at the end of the
comment just emphasizes his disregard for the woman.

Cheap shot personal attacks- for the NJ Governor who is an able administrator-  from the 'Terminally Liberal' Gothamist readership. . . as pandered to, by the Gothamist 'Journal-istas'!

Oh Yeah. . . let's get them an 'Official NYPD Press Pass!!  <-(What a joke!)

Stop hating Zombies.  Christie owned that idiot.

  • Bernie_Geotz_Squirrel_Luv

Jeez, he looks worse now than when he had his copter trip and the Obama visit.
Can you imagine his physical and how large his chart would be if he were President?

  • BrooklynDnB

Still fat. Thought he was on a diet. Must be a see-food diet.

  • felixthecat

    lost my appetite.

Romney would have replied condescendingly that the protesters "don't know what jobs are", without knowing them nor their backgrounds. Ron Paul would have walked out in a curmudgeonly display of "strength."

  • doesn't that technically count as a sexually suggestive remark?  in an office setting, would that count as sexual harassment?

    Boooooo, Ben Konop, Booooooooooo!

  • Go exercise your body Christie!!!   ... since you dont ever exercise your mind...

  • I wonder when all those people who were clamoring for Questlove & The Roots to fired from Jimmy Fallon's show, after playing "lyin' ass bitch" by Fishbone to greet Michelle Bachmann purely because of their obviously "sexist" behavior, will start the same shit-storm about Chris Christie's comments ...  Yeah... I thought not...

    "Barack Obama induced anger."

    Yeah, no partisan bickering there.

The repubs creep me out.  They seem so much like lying bustards.

"be inspired by someone who has built a life that America can be proud of, not by a Chicago ward politician,” Christie said"  ?? the community organizer and State Rep is now a "ward politician?"  they just make this shit up.  I thought he was a "Chicago Thug!"

“You know what?” Romney said. “This president has caused a deepening recession and is responsible for 25 million Americans being out of work or stopped working"
really?  what?  This lying flopping sack blames it all on Obama?  I don't even like Obama that much but at least he's been trying.  He didn't want to go for the big work package because they republicans complained, and he's all trying to make "nice nice" with the GOP.

  • Politburo

Thing is if you look at just about any graph on the economy, it turns around right around 1Q2009.

And yet these guys claim every day, with little to no objection from the media, that it was Obama that caused or deepened the recession.

  • Relaxasaurus

I hate politics & fear-mongering around election year as much as the next guy, but they ALL are shady and talk trash.

I almost wonder if it's possible to win an election without doing so. :\
