With a 3-2 overtime win over the Panthers, the Rangers now have the most points in the NHL. Marian Gaborik scored 3:29 into overtime after an assist from Derek Stepan and helped make a winner out of Martin Biron, who has started four of the last nine games. Anton Stralman and Ryan Callahan had the other goals for the Rangers, who outshot Florida, 41-21. The Rangers took a lead 4:24 into the third period but gave it back 36 seconds later. Bill Clinton was in attendance and caught a puck that was thrown to him. He must have Time Warner Cable and be unable to watch the Rangers at home.

  • While this is the best Rangers team in years, I have to give it up to Boston. I mean, holy cow, 9-0 last night. Least goals allowed in the league (Rangers are 2nd). If Boston doesn't win the cup it will be a huge upset.

Avery's no longer on the Rangers.

Love the Rangers - hate their owners.

Also in attendance: TV chef Anne Burrell and Giants tight end Bear Pascoe.
