Woman Busted For Smuggling Cocaine In Shoes En Route To NYC

A 19-year-old Bronx woman was caught on her way back to New York from Jamaica for allegedly trying to smuggle three pounds of cocaine in her shoes. It doesn't quite compare to this, but still, the blow doesn't look like it was stashed there on accident.

Brielle Latoi Orridge was at a layover at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport on her way from Montego Bay to New York when a drug-sniffing dog at customs alerted authorities to narcotics in her bag. She was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine, and if convicted, is facing 40 years in prison.

In related news, cocaine was found on nine out of ten public baby changing tables, many of which are conveniently located in...airports.
