What warmed up the Devils, who entered Monday's game losers of five of seven? How about the even-colder Lightning. New Jersey won, 5-4, with five different players scoring. Zach Parise and Adam Henrique both had a goal and two assists. Petr Sykora, Ilya Kovalchuk and Dainius Zubrus had the other goals. The Devils led, 2-0, after five minutes, 38 seconds but gave that lead back before the first intermission. They then blew the game open in the second and were never in danger of losing despite two third-period Lightning goals.
