Video Exclusive: Chapter 3 Of Girl Walk // All Day (Featuring The Return Of The "Single Ladies" Dance)

We're back, with the latest chapter of Girl Walk // All Day, the epic music video filmed all over New York City. Below is the premiere of Chapter 3, which brings the protagonist to Lower Manhattan, where she teaches some women how to do the "Single Ladies" dance. But before you get there, you may want to start from the beginning and watch Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 again (or for the first time).

We'll be back with the next installment on Friday, December 9th (the night after the project's big premiere at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple—RSVP here).

Girl Walk // All Day is a production by Wild Combination.

Is Anne Marsen single?  Does she accept marraige proposals via email?  What is her email?

Idea: this team needs to unite with Improv Everywhere and get a massive amount of professional dancers in everyday business suits to stand in an office lobby and pretend not to know eachother, then suddenly break out in an elaborate pop & lock routine for a few min, then nonchalantly go about their day.
  • @facebook-688365453:disqus they should make a movie like this but about boxing instead of dancing..my buddy's mother-in-law makes $85 every hour on the laptop. She has been laid off for 9 months but last month her pay was $9091 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read more on this site... http://www.scrbe.us/h8
  • i like your style, lets meet up for a drink some time.

I think the dancing lady is  annoying and stupid. Oh and its not funny, its awkward. And its fucking up the decent music.
  • souper_crackers
I liked this record earlier this year, but I'm tired of the coverage on this here, especially the way it's not marked as being promotional. Someone's in cahoots with someone here.
  • HymietownHero
    Is something being sold here?
  • Dancing in the streets must be stopped.  We just can't afford this kind of public expression.
  • This woman danced all over the neighborhood where I work. I'm sorry I didn't see her. I would have danced with her.
  • This was the best of the three videos. But I still hate when the girl feels the need to interpret rap lyrics with funny faces...
  • Trustafarian
    lol @ the confused hassids.
  • I would have preferred to see a more attractive girl in the video - or is that part of the irony here?
  • HymietownHero
I find that dancing girl quite attractive for a variety of reasons.
  • robingee
Aw, the girl isn't pwetty enough for you.
  • Detex
    Hipsters = Irony.
  • robingee
Talking about ironic hipsters = boring already.
  • they should make a movie like this but about boxing instead of dancing, and the protagonist can go tip toe hopping around new york punching everyone in the head with a boxing glove.
  • schmeep
I'd prefer the reverse in this case.
  • where NYC boxes her?
  • robingee
    In Soviet Union...
  • MattyGC
wtf did you just make me watch?
  • schmeep
Be thankful you came late to the game.
  • I'm surprised everyone hates on this so much. Somebody has fun. Makes a video of it. The End.
  • nunyadamn
Well it is "The End" if you do nothing with the video. When you post the video online and claiming it as art then you should expect critique good and bad. Not everyone is going to like what you are doing and that is part of making art.

This one is better but I still want to punch her in the throat.
  • Detex
Why is Gothamist now posing ADs like they are stories?

Also, this girl seems really annoying.
  • MattyGC
    I also hate "laughter"
  • MattyGC
yes, i hate "fun" and things that are "fun".
  • schmeep
Just because you say The End doesn't make it so.  I'm going to critique it more now that you tried to put your QED on it.
  • theevilerone
Plus its never The End. There are 4 more installments to go.
  • The End.
  • schmeep
Cut to visual of Ming the Merciless' ring:

    The End?

    (Ah ha hahahahahahaha hahaaaaaa)
