Back At Zuccotti: The OWS Protester Arrested For "Burn NYC To The F---ing Ground" Threat

Hey, remember how police arrested Nkrumah Tinsley, an Occupy Wall Street protester, because he was spotted on a video saying, "On [November] 17th, we going to burn New York City to the f-cking ground... In a few days they’re going to see what a Molotov cocktail can do to Macy’s... They got guns, we got bottles!"? Well, now Tinsley is out... and he's back at Zuccotti Park!

The Daily News reports, "After an appearance at Manhattan Criminal Court Tuesday morning — where prosecutors said they have not yet presented the case to a grand jury — Tinsley waltzed over to where a group of demonstrators were gathered at the park. He disappeared before the afternoon rain began to fall on the near-empty park." Tinsley managed to make the $7,500 bail and an OWS spokesman "refused to admit" to the News that "they footed the bill to spring Tinsley, saying even they consider him a 'loose cannon,'" saying, "We won’t have anything to do with this guy. Certainly everything we do is centered around us being a peaceful and nonviolent movement."

Still, City Councilman Peter Vallone is unhappy Tinsley's walking around, and Tinsley's owner father says his son has mental health issues, "He’s got to learn. He’s got to pay for what he did."

OWS IS DEAD!...Stop resurrecting non-stories already.

  • It would be very interesting to find out who posted the bail.  My guess - it was someone with not the best of intentions.

I'm guessing that they did pay his bail. I think that it's a catch 22 situation. He's obviously seriously mentally ill, he obviously needs help. If they didn't pay his bail and paid the bail of everyone else that was arrested, they would have been essentially discriminating against the mentally ill. Hopefully he gets the help that he needs. He's not going to be welcome in the movement.

He seems to represent the typical OWS protester quite nicely.

    Ah, Mr. knows everything! Hello!

  • And here I thought he was just quoting the burger guy from Harold and Kumar.

Maybe the socialite Tinsley Mortimer should marry this guy, she could be Tinsley Tinsley ;)

    Sorry, what's an owner father?

  • You know whats makes me happy?  The fact that this liberal "news" website cares about homeless bums and where they are.  Keep up the great "journalism."  Who the F@CK cares about this hobo
