Cops Seek Three Men Who Threatened To Kill Occupy Wall Street Protester

Last Saturday, a man was arrested for allegedly trying to sell cocaine to protesters at Zuccotti Park and even punching one woman who refused. Now police say that three men threatened the woman because she was pressing charges: "You had our friend arrested — we’re going to kill you. Watch your back."

The incident that provoked the threats was when 19-year-old Garfield Leslie was nabbed by cops. According to the Daily News, "Leslie offered to sell the woman drugs, and when she declined that offer and his romantic advances, he punched her in the face and dished out more blows to two friends who had come to her defense, police said." Yesterday, Leslie's apparent "friends" visited the woman.

The police say the three suspects are all black males, about 16 to 20 years old, between 5'5" and 5'9". Here's video of the suspects.

Besides the arrests related the protests, the News tallies up some other notable incidents: "On Oct. 11, David Park, 27, of Conn., was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a 26-year-old protester inside a sleeping bag. He had previously been collared for disorderly conduct during a march by protesters, police said. And last month, a man was arrested inside Zuccotti Park for burglarizing a nearby office building, police said."

Oh that Mayor Bloomberg is a genius. Get a bunch of protestors all in once place, then all the scum of society will flock to them and the police can arrest them on the spot. Crime free New York!

Don't know what NYC you're living in, but in the one I inhabit neither Bloomberg nor the police are too concerned with stopping crime, unless that "crime" happens to be an expired meter or a peaceful protester.
