15-Yr-Old Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Two Women In Queens

2011_10_handcuffs2.jpg The Queens DA office has charged a 15-year-old boy with attempted rape and sexual assault for two separate attacks on women in recent weeks. The teen, who was arrested on Sunday, was identified in police line-ups by two victims and may be charged in other similar attacks. Queens DA Richard Brown said, "The defendant is accused of prowling the streets and preying on vulnerable women."

Brown's office also released details of the attacks, which were very violent:

A 40-year-old female, at approximately 1:18 a.m. on October 9, 2011, and punched her repeatedly in the face, causing her to fall backwards onto the ground. The defendant allegedly continued to punch her, causing the victim to hit her head on the cement ground. At the same time, he allegedly attempted to remove her clothing and succeeded in pulling her pants and underwear to her knees before he sexually abused her. It is alleged that at one point, the victim managed to stand up but the defendant punched her from behind, causing her to fall to her hands and knees. The victim allegedly suffered severe bruising to her eyes, lacerations to the inside of her mouth, a nasal fracture which required surgery, a laceration to her cheek requiring stitches, severe abrasions to both her knees requiring debridement, as well as contusions, pain and swelling to the rear of her head.

In the second instance, it is alleged that the defendant approached his second victim, a 24-
year-old female, from behind as she was walking at approximately 7:15 p.m. on October 16, 2011, and grabbed her in a headlock and began punching her repeatedly. The victim allegedly fell to the cement ground while the defendant continued to punch her in the face until she lost consciousness.

It is alleged that the defendant scratched at her legs, trying to remove her girdle. The victim allegedly suffered a lacerated lip, lacerations to the inside of her mouth, bruising, swelling and pain to her face and bruising and contusions to the rear of her head.

The suspect is currently awaiting arraignment. If he is convicted, he will be a juvenile offender and could receive two and two-thirds to eight years in prison.

Residents, who have been worried about the serial sex attacker, remain cautious—one told 1010WINS, "I feel relieved if that’s actually the culprit, but if not, then still worried because there’s still more out there."

  • Incidents like this tell us that we really can't tell when danger happens to us, who or what may attack us. As parents, we need to inform our children especially the young teens about this matter. Yet, we cannot deny the fact that we can't always watch over them especially at work. So, I tried searching for solutions and luckily I read an article which featured a safety app which can help with issues like this, it has cool features that are helpful for your kids. Check it here: http://www.tsue-thatswhatshesa...

  • Juvenile offender? Does that mean his record will be sealed? People need to know what he's done.

  • swampyankeesmom

now he has learned his lesson, never leave a witness.

Yeah this kid is beyond help.  This isn't juvenile high-spiritness and poor judgement.  This isn't a case of being in a bad environment that he can be removed from - this is repeated and pre-planned extremely violent attacks on adult women.

He's escalated as high as its going to get.  He hasn't killed someone, not because its not in him, but by pure chance (either of those victims could've easily been killed).  He's broken, he's done.

2-8 years is a joke.  He'll assault another woman within a week of being released.  And next time, the victim may not live.

    waterboard this reprobate

i call for castration and removal of right hand.

D'awwww, they grow up so fast!

  • whitecastlerock

    Where were this kid's parents?

  • annaka700

WHO were this kid's parents? Most likely whoever raised him is a danger to society as well.

  • swampyankeesmom

15 year olds steal candy or spray paint walls, not commit rape. i don't think he will ever be rehabilitated.

  • Screw the juvenile nonsense! The kid should be tried as an adult! It's one thing if he committed something once and even then, non-methodically, but this kid clearly knew what he was doing! It was planned and intentional! It's not like this kid got drunk at a party and drunkenly-raped a girl at the party (also inexcusable, BTW). What's 2-8 years going to do for this kid? Help him get pointers from other inmates who don't care about reforming? Get more musculature for future victims? The "kid" already knew to beat these women unconscious, before sexually assaulting them... that's not randomly decided.

I'm all for second chances, but it doesn't sound like this kid deserves it.

Maybe medication and therapy will keep at bay whatever is in his head driving him to do this crap.

  • angry_pickle

I guess the ads and kickbacks from the pharmaceutical industry is working.

  • FU Boy

But what if it's not a chemical imbalance but programmed behavior due to an upbringing that showed him women are weak and easily taken advantage of?

Then it's what he believes as truth like Catholics are taught Jesus was born from a virgin.  That's not going away because of Meds, unless you just keep him so drugged he's comatose for life.

  • annaka700

My hypothesis about this kid's behavior is that he was severely abused physically and possibly sexually by a woman somewhere in his upbringing, not that he sees women as weak. There's a lot of anger and rage based on the description of his attacks on the victims. He didn't attack a younger girl of his age group. He's getting his revenge (so to speak) now that he's physically grown up.

  • Dirk

Ugh. This kid's a psycho and will probably never contribute to society.

Sometimes I think people like this should just be taken out back and shot.

  • swampyankeesmom

oh but he was nice kid.

  • shineoftheever

Great, this kid will be released in 2-8 years and will probably attack again once out. I'm all for some A Clockwork Orange treatment on trash like this. 15 and already attacking women like this? I fear what he'll do once he's an adult.

  • HymietownHero

This kid is quite clearly a violent sociopath. Two and a half to eight years in prison will only give society a temporary reprieve from the nasty shit that's swirling around his head and pouring out through his extremities. I get that the offender is young. Maybe there is some hope in rehabilitation. Maybe he just needs some counseling. But somehow, I feel that we need to reconsider sending certain criminals into exile on shitty subarctic islands.

  • annaka700

Most likely it's too late for counseling and rehabilitation. There's some kids with emotional problems who do crimes that can be reached with counseling at this age, but the nature of these crimes point to full blown sociopath diagnosis. Nothing works with sociopaths.
