In these times of economic crises, I can't believe our government is giving serious consideration to anything an illegal alien asks for beyond the way home!

What we have created is an entitlement community! All they had to do was just show up! We have taken their children from K-12 free, with breakfast/lunch, ELL/ESL classes ($ away from citizen children learning), medical, and social services. According to an article in today's LA Times, they are finding that most children from illegal alien families don't graduate high school!

Why are we considering advance education for illegal aliens and their children such a national priority OVER the basic need of Americans! The illegal aliens have become totally self-serving without regard to the nation that they say they love! They say that they are the best and brightest, if that is so, prove it by financing your own college education!!! Now that is what I call respecting America, not looking for another handout!

You don't know much about economic issues because based on my professional experience, a full 30% of welfare recipients are illegal aliens. I don't understand your use of the term "good people." I do know that most illegal aliens believe that if they haven't gotten caught, then they are good. I don't agree! NO ONE stands up for the American citizen whoes identity has been stolen. 1) Undocumented aliens pay taxes, almost all of them don't get refunded because the IRS number only takes their money and doesn't give back.
2) USA citizens are USA citizens, if a kid is born here and their parents aren't, and you are tired of them taking your walefare money, wouldn't it make more sense to legalize them and allow them to work so that they may pay taxes to pay for your food too? remember undocumented aliens pay taxes, but they don't pay the same amount as you because they work on the side, off the books. They report what little they make, if they had a stable job all this tax money thats being lost can go towards funding more education and much more.
3) There are worse people we need to focus on, then the ones who are working and trying to get by. There are actual threats in this country, criminals, killers who have yet to be caught, and all of our resources are going to deporting people who have been working and paying taxes.
4) Harmful effect: 14 million people undocumented = 14 million people who can be paying taxes and report the exact amount  = more revenue for the united states. So the US is doing more harm to itself not giving these people temporary working permits to pay taxes and generate millions of dollars worth of taxes. Only thing people are scared of is that 14 million people will side democrat rather then republican.
5) Classrooms are not crowded due to illegal aliens, they are crowded due to a larger population being born, all citizens. When i was in highschool there was only one undocumented student who was in procedure to getting his resident status.
6) again money being wasted, taxes and resources again being wasted in order to get rid of hard working people, did you know that undocumented aliens make 70% of your farmers workforce? the pick your food. Now you're going to waste money kicking these people out, when you can gain money by legalizing them? do you know how much a fake marriage cost? 20k to 40k people  undergo these types of things, so why can't we charge these undocumeted aliens a fee of 20k for their papers, imagine 18mil x 20k thats a lot of revenue.
