Is Occupy Wall Street getting too much of the wrong kind of attention? Just earlier today we heard that Christopher Nolan wanted to film scenes for The Dark Knight Rises at Zuccotti Park, and now Viacom may be the next group to be profiting from the 99%. Dance monkeys!

Last night MTV posted this ad on Craigslist, stating:

MTV's Real World is seeking cast members to tell their unique stories on our show. If you are over the age of 20 and appear to be between the ages of 20-24, and the description below sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Are you a part of the OCCUPY WALL STREET movement? If so, please contact realworldcasting@bunim-murray.com. Your subject heading should be YOUR NAME and WALL STREET.

Please attach 3 RECENT PHOTOS and a brief BIO, including your full NAME, DATE OF BIRTH (for ID purposes only) as well as your CONTACT INFORMATION including PHONE #.

We've contacted MTV for more information about the casting call, and we will update if we hear back. In the meantime, Bunim-Murray, please try to secure a place in the house for Hipster Cop. [via The Observer]

what if you are an occupier, 38 and "appear" to be 24?  Wow really they are all under 24 now? Now wonder they are so stupid.

And like all MTV Real World shows, they're sure to ignite some racial tension between the cast members. Way to go, MTV, you went from an interesting music channel (many lifetimes ago) to, well, pure caca.

Leave it to MTV to trivialize the first sincere American "leftist" political movement in ages.

Let's see how the thrill of the spotlight can ensnare these kids.  MTV is the biggest whore maker of all time.

MTV seeking out OWS cast members is like JP Morgan seeking out OWS protesters to fill their vacancies.
