Dominique Strauss-Kahn in Tribeca yesterday—he's pretty thrilled to leave NYC.

Nothing sticks to Dominique Strauss-Kahn! French prosecutors have decided to end its sex assault investigation on the French Socialist politician and former head of the International Monetary Fund "for lack of sufficient proof."

Tristane Banon, a writer, accused Stauss-Kahn of trying to rape her in 2002, saying he "opened my bra, tried to open my jeans" during an interview. Banon had wanted to go to authorities, but her mother, another leading Socialist politician, convinced her not to. Banon only came forward after New York hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo accused him of raping her at the Sofitel Times Square in May.

Strauss-Kahn had been under house arrest for many weeks in NYC, only to be freed after the Manhattan DA's office decided it could not prosecute him because of questions about Diallo's credibility. Upon returning to France, he allegedly admitted to kissing Banon
